Flight 93, Part 2

    This is Indian Lake Airport, only a few miles away from the crash side near Shanksville.   Paul Freeman flew over Indian Lake airport in 2001. Both paved runways still existed in very good condition , along with a group of small hangars. In 2002, Indian Lake was advertised for sale as an airfield. The 2004 USGS aerial photo showed the Indian Lake Airport to remain in excellent condition - even with markings on Runway 14/32 which seemed to indicate an open runway ( no closed-runway “X” symbols ) . Flight 93, Part 1

    This is the crash site of Flight 93    This is the official flight path of United Airlines 93. Link According to the official story, United Airlines 93 departed at 08:42am from Newark to San Franzisco and was hijacked at 09:28am. Than it changed the direction and was flying towards Washington D.C.. The passengers learned of the attacks in New York and Washington by phone and they then decided to retake the plane.
