Link According to the official story, United Airlines 93 departed at 08:42am from Newark to San Franzisco and was hijacked at 09:28am. Than it changed the direction and was flying towards Washington D.C.. The passengers learned of the attacks in New York and Washington by phone and they then decided to retake the plane.
